SUMMARY

The Race is an epic and positive story about the excess of America 30s that discovers itself, this prohibition's America and Mormon, Women's lib and racism, Henry Ford, Al Capone and Eliot Ness, Steinbeck and Rockefeller and especially those men for whom nothing was impossible, able to invent the craziest race of the world, raise thousands of participants from around the world to cross the U.S. in the name of free enterprise and democracy.


The Race tells the story of these men and women of all backgrounds, of all nationalities, all colors who tried this crazy idea to travel 3,421.5 miles from Los Angeles to New York in 588 hours.
